Unit Description:
Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team as a Clinical Nutrition Manager at Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare a community facility located ~ 1 hour east of Syracuse.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Clinical Nutrition Manager will:
- Manage a clinical team of 14 RD s at multiple sites.
- Be an RD with at least 3 years of clinical experience and 2 years management or leadership experience.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely in a multidisciplinary team setting .
- Conduct nutrition patient assessment and provide diet education as needed.
- Have experience with electronic charting and the NCP.
- Assist General Manager with management responsibilities and department policies and procedures.
- Serve in a leadership role with the Food and Nutrition Services team along
with other managers and have a highly visible role with client interaction
representing the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees.
- Be responsible for regulatory and accreditation preparation and readiness. DNV experience is preferred.
- Be highly motivated and work well as an integrated team member with
physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.

Coordinates and directs the efforts of all patient care areas in very large accounts or major health care systems with more than two sites. Coordinates the supervision of specialty areas. Assists Clinical Area Support Manager in completion of projects, assessment of clinical programs at other accounts and mentoring of less experienced Clinical Nutrition Managers. May direct a dietetic internship.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
